Top Famous Californian YouTubers

Who are some of the best and popular female YouTubers in California?

Here is a list that you will hardly find anywhere else because we checked with several co-workers, friends, neighbors, and other sources to come up with a list of their favorite female YouTubers. Moreover, we wanted to stay local and focused on the ones in California. I hope you enjoy watching their videos as much as we did!

1. Cassandra Bankson

Cassandra is focused on beauty and skin health. She is a model and a YouTuber based in San Francisco. Her channel focuses on makeup products, acne tips, and beauty. She has an impressive number of 805K subscribers which are growing exponentially.

One of her videos that caught my attention titled “Confession: Why I Stopped Modeling, And Why I’m Coming Back.” She talks about the modeling industry and explains how recently a lot has changed where instead of only skinny models with cliche perfect skins, there is a shift towards normal and diverse looking people, such as people with acne, vitaglo, and different body shapes and sizes. She explains how she is in a healthier state of mind than she ever was before, and she wants to make a difference to show the world she can improve other peoples lives:

“Can I change the world? I don’t know. But it’s irresponsible for me not to try.”

My favorite video of her is titled: “What to Say to Your Crush at Work” in which she mentions 5 useful lines that should help you out when you really want to talk to your crush at work.

My favorite line was to ask your crush out to come with you to a happy hour with a group of friends, so that he/she knows it’s not a date and does not scare away! I’ll leave it to you to watch the rest of the video to find out. šŸ˜‰
